JOSEPH CASIMIRO
Sport Pickleball | Nationality American | Hand Left | Style Simple & Effective
Joseph Casimiro didn't arrive at pickleball through a structured pathway — he found it at the gym, running casual games, figuring it out as he went. But the moment he tapped into the real pickleball community and felt everything start to click, there was no going back. Now a tournament competitor and proud member of the Osaka family, Joseph brings a laid-back confidence and a strategic mind to every court he steps on. His mantra says it all: feel good, look good, play good.

Q: How would you introduce yourself - on and off the court?
On and off the court, I'm very laid-back — but I know when it's time to lock in. I love competing at the highest level and striving to be the best in everything I do. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family and building real connections within the pickleball community. That community aspect is genuinely one of my favorite parts of the sport.
Q: How did you first get into pickleball - and what made you take it seriously?
I got into pickleball at the gym, just running games for fun without really knowing the right way to play. Once I tapped into the real pickleball community, they welcomed me in and helped elevate my game. The more I learned, the more everything started to click. As I improved, I realized there are real levels to this sport — you can get humbled quick, but that's all part of growing and getting better. Now I'm playing tournaments and leveling up every single time I compete.
"I love competing at the highest level and striving to be the best in everything I do."

Q: Who has been your biggest inspiration, and why?
My biggest inspiration is the people around me. Seeing my friends and other players in the community continue to improve and push themselves motivates me to do the same and stay locked in. There's something uniquely powerful about being surrounded by people who are all working to get better — it raises your own standard without you even realizing it.
Q: How would you describe your playing style:
Simple but effective. I'm great at reading opponents and capitalizing on their mistakes, while letting my left-side player handle the pressure. I focus on creating uncomfortable positions, setting up pop-ups, and changing the tempo to keep opponents off balance. It's not flashy — but it works, and that's what matters when the score is tight.
Q: What do people underestimate about pickleball?
People underestimate that pickleball is a real sport. It's not just about hitting a ball — there's strategy behind every point, along with footwork and shot selection. It's a thinking game, and the little details are what separate each division. The gap between casual play and high-level competition is bigger than most people expect until they experience it firsthand.

Q: What makes you unique on the court?
How I show up. I stay fitted and ready every time I come to play. I believe that when you feel good, you look good, and you play good — and that confidence carries into the way I perform. It's not just a saying for me, it's a real mindset. The way you carry yourself before a match sets the tone for everything that follows.
Q: What does being part of the Osaka family mean to you?
Being part of the Osaka family means everything to me. Ever since I started playing pickleball, I've always been a fan of the brand — so being given the opportunity to be part of something this big is truly a dream come true. Stepping on the court wearing Osaka gives me that extra confidence. It's the physical embodiment of my philosophy: feel good, look good, play good.
"When you feel good, you look good, you play good. Stepping on the court wearing Osaka gives me that extra confidence.
