Raul Marcos

"I want to remain competitive and a headache for the best players in the world."

Meet Raul Marcos

For those who may not be familiar with him yet: Raul Marcos is a professional padel player, 32 years old, born and raised in Madrid, Spain.

"In the sporting aspect, I consider myself a positive person, fighter and with a great mentality. I love to compete and enjoy the pressure," he says.

He currently lives traveling the world for padel — but off the court, he describes himself differently: "I am a very calm and familiar person, and I enjoy good company. I love to eat and enjoy the good life."

Career Highlights

Staying power is what Raul is proudest of. "What I am most proud of in my sporting career is to have been and to continue to be competitive during all these years and to remain among the best players in the world."

He's reached World No. 36 twice — first on the World Padel Tour circuit, and most recently on the International Padel Federation ranking two years ago. On the results side, his standout moments include being crowned Spain U23 Champion, an absolute runner-up finish, and team titles with both Spain and the Madrid selection.

Goals for the Future

Raul is playing across several circuits this season, so he's not chasing one specific ranking — but his ambition hasn't changed. "What I do have clear is that I want to remain competitive and a headache for the best players in the world."

His focus this year: the A1 Padel circuit, where he's aiming for the final rounds. "That's where I start this year, and where I have put all my hopes."

Why Osaka

Raul first connected with Osaka through its personality as a brand, and it was a brand showcase in Italy two years ago that sealed it. "Their stand did not leave anyone indifferent."

"This enthusiasm and illusion, together with the current moment of my career, makes me think that we are together at the perfect time and that we will both achieve our goals."

The Osaka Partnership

For Raul, sponsorship is more than support — it's motivation. "Osaka's support is very important for me to keep pushing forward, and above all it is an extra motivation to know that they have trusted me to help them in their development."

The partnership is already producing something tangible: an RM x Osaka collection, launching throughout the year.
