The first time I dribble with the stick I instantly knew thats the stick, the ball just stuck to stick like glue. In regards to the power of the stick, its got a wide sweet spot, the ball travels along the carpet unless lifted with the wrist. Although the stick is 100% carbon it has a feel of 85% carbon which is ideal for trapping, rather then ball deflecting off the stick. Negative is if your a older player who is used to short handle shots, it may be difficult to get a accurate hit because the light weight on the curve. In reference to trapping, you will get a near dead trap mainly bcoz of built and weight on the curve...The grip feels really sturdy and wouldn't require any additional regripping. A mid bow is for someone who has player hockey perhaps in the early 2000, its a more straighter stick and an acquired taste..I previously owned the Addidas CarbonBraid, it didnt have a long life (max 2 yrs). I would prefer the Osaka here mainly becoz of ability of the stick to glue the ball plus near dead traps (not as dead as the Wasp Z9)..I hoping the Osaka has a longer life...My ideal stick would be OSAKA make, addidas witdh, osaka grip, Wazp Z9 trapping ability.
