The Osaka Futurelab 45 XTR Bow is Osaka's answer to the new design trend that has come to the sport in recent years. Composites let manufacturers approach shape design more boldly than ever before, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.

The most distinctive feature is the hookslot. We've taken a chunk out of the hook, which gives you greater control when dragging the ball or performing skills. We've also completely redesigned the backside of the stick. The carefully designed geometry creates more surface area, which adds stiffness at a reduced weight penalty. Simply put, this stick is lighter but stiffer than its traditional counterparts.

The XTR Bow is a unique, powerful shape with a drag-flicking groove to boot. The maximum bow point sits 200mm from the head, with a maximum height of 24mm. Combined with the grooved face and a powerful, dynamic profile, it creates a modern hockey playing experience like no other.

The design focuses on slap-shooting power and control on top of drag-flicking speed and accuracy, combining the best of both worlds.

great all round stick for midfielders

I’ve used this stick for over a season and have been really happy with it. The Pro Bow shape is great for dribbling, passing, and general midfield play, and it feels comfortable and natural to use.

The stick offers a good balance of control and power, making it suitable for a wide range of players. I’ve found it reliable for carrying the ball, distributing passes, and contributing in attack, while still feeling forgiving on first touch.

The build quality is excellent and the design looks great. Overall, it’s a versatile stick that performs well across all areas of the game and is a great option for midfielders looking for a dependable all-round stick.

I would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful stick to look at and play with, brilliant grip and great power behind the ball when dribbling.

Amazing hockey stick, however if you aren’t from the Uk you will get a charge for customs tax as the item is over £135 which in my case was £56
